Hi everyone

Just to let you know my application for ill health retirement has finally been submitted to Teachers Pensions. I handed it in to the local authority on 31st August and it took over a month for them to fill in their part and for the occupational health doctor to fill in his bit.

Please can everyone keep their fingers crossed for me, and I will let you know what there decision is.

Dear Louise, i will keep everything xed for you,

Next week i am going to see H.R and my manager and early retirement has been mentioned, I am due to retire next June so i dont know how it will go, my meeting is next Tuesday, i know i will have a long way to go, .... my GP is all for it but Rheumy keeps advising me to stay at work, i think he gets brownie points for keeping R.A patients at work. i would like him to feel how i feel whilst at work.

I do hope that the outcome is good for you.

Take care, Anne-m xx

When I submitted my application I got a reply in about 10 days so hopefully not to long to wait. I officially retired on the 31st august ad my school very kindly 'lost' the paper work until the end of term.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
